Platinum Technologies (PT78) provides technical and engineering support services for an Air Force program that provides the capability to Detect, Identify, Track and Defeat small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS). Our team supports the application of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) security controls to the enterprise design; detect, identify and mitigate cyber vulnerabilities across all system configuration baselines and coordinate with project team personnel in support of achieving and maintaining the ATO for the enterprise. Coordinate with the Cybersecurity engineers to ensure applications developed conform to the Information Security specifications for the program.
Ensuring Cybersecurity Excellence
PT78 also provides RMF support for components to be fielded through the Security Control Assessor (SCA) and ultimately the Approving Authority (AO) for a DoD cyber operations program. Our team is responsible for performing dynamic and static scans utilizing tools such as SonarQube, Prisma Cloud, and Nessus (ACAS), coordinating and gathering the Body of Evidence IAW with RMF control selection criteria and validating the mitigation of CAT I and CAT II issues. Additionally, we provide guidance on architecture design to meet security requirements without losing the intended capability. Both the Architecture and Cybersecurity teams work as part of the System Integrator (SI) function including Configuration Management to move new system components and system upgrades through the Engineering Review Board (ERB) and Configuration Control Board (CCB) processes.
