Douglas Ash

Independent Director

Doug has over 35 years of experience as a business and technology leader for Fortune 100 technology, professional services, and aerospace-defense companies. He worked at the most senior levels of organizations— including Chief Information Officer and P&L executive—and is known as a transformational leader of both people and lines of business within large enterprises. 


In his most recent role at Deloitte, Doug was the Managing Director and Chief Technology Executive responsible for defining and implementing the technology strategy for the firm’s business functions. He also served as the Global Technology Leader for the firm’s financial and talent transformations. Earlier in his career, Doug held various leadership roles at Lockheed Martin and IBM corporations. 


Doug is an accredited Energy LeadershipTM Index Master Practitioner (ELI-MP) and Certified Professional Coach (CPC). He received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology from the University of South Florida. He also completed executive leadership development at Georgia Tech and the Lockheed Martin Center for Leadership Excellence. 


Doug is a Deloitte CIO Fellow and currently serves as a board director for Platinum Technologies and Innocent Lives Foundation. He is the former board chairman for the Information Technology Senior Management Forum and served on several boards including Big Brothers Big Sisters, Howard University Board of Visitors, Black Data Processing Associates, and For Kid’s Sake Foundation.
